Resolved Question: what is it like to drive through northwestern Colorado?

I'm going to be taking the I-70 to Denver and will be driving through the Rockies. I have never been this way before and want to know if the drive is a gradual ascent or an extreme elevation most of the way where my car will have to do serious vertical climbing? Thank you for any answers. you say up to 7% grade for 5-6 miles. approximately where is this 7% grade on I-70? knowing this would be very helpful. thanks... read more
